Haneef Shareef was Born in Karachi, completed his basic education in Turbat, Balochistan, and received a MBBS degree from Bolan Medical College, Quetta, in 2003. Active in the Student Politics and affiliated to Baloch Students Organisation (BSO). Being a X-missing Person, his abduction in 2005 was publicly protested by local and international human rights organisations, including Amnesty International. He was released after nine months, and moved to Germany, where he now lives in exile and is active as a writer, filmmaker, YouTuber, and photographer. His works includes a novel, CHEGERD and a number of short stories in Balochi. Most of his short stories have been published and acclaimed. In addition to his authorship, he has directed four films in Balochi. Haneef also runs a YouTube channel, Radio Balochistan, https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6289428/
