Unmask the Psychology of Illusion, Power, and Self-Deception in One of Literature’s Greatest Masterpieces

Description

Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes is more than just a tale of a delusional knight chasing windmills—it is a deep exploration of human psychology, belief, and manipulation. In this volume, Dr. Ponn Virulrak extracts the hidden psychological lessons embedded within the novel, revealing how manipulation, self-deception, and the power of perception shape reality—both in Cervantes’ time and today.

Through five insightful lessons, this book uncovers:
✔ The Power of Belief and Self-Deception – How illusions shape our actions and perceptions.
✔ The Influence of Idealism and Its Exploitation – How noble dreams can be turned into tools of manipulation.
✔ The Role of Sympathy and Charisma – How influential figures use emotion to gain control.
✔ Cognitive Dissonance and Rationalization – Why people justify irrational actions to maintain their self-image.
✔ Social Influence and Public Perception – How public opinion is crafted and manipulated.

Blending literary analysis with modern psychology, this book provides practical insights into recognizing manipulation in personal, professional, and societal contexts. Whether you are a student of psychology, a literature enthusiast, or someone intrigued by the mechanisms of influence, this book will change the way you see Don Quixote’s tragic yet profound journey.
